Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Outstatic Cloud and Outstatic PRO.
Last updated: February 20, 2026
1. Service scope
Outstatic provides an open source content management system and a hosted cloud service. The hosted product includes a free plan and Outstatic PRO. Outstatic PRO currently includes team roles, email and Google login for non-GitHub users, and AI writing assistance.
2. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, workspace, and connected repositories. You must keep authentication credentials secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
You may not use Outstatic to violate laws, infringe intellectual property rights, or distribute malicious software.
3. GitHub, Google, and other integrations
Outstatic can connect to third-party services such as GitHub and Google to support authentication and repository workflows. Your use of those integrations is also governed by each provider’s terms and privacy policies.
If a third-party service changes or becomes unavailable, related Outstatic functionality may be limited.
4. Subscription and billing
Outstatic PRO is sold as a per-user monthly subscription. As of February 20, 2026, the published price is $9.99 per user per month with a 14-day trial period for eligible new subscriptions.
By starting a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges through our billing provider until cancellation. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation applies to future billing periods unless otherwise required by law.
5. Content ownership and license
You retain ownership of your content. Outstatic stores and processes content to provide the service, including committing updates to repositories you connect.
You grant Outstatic a limited license to host, process, transmit, and back up your content solely to operate, secure, and improve the product.
6. Acceptable use
- No abusive, fraudulent, or illegal activity through the service.
- No attempts to bypass security controls, rate limits, or account boundaries.
- No reverse engineering of hosted systems except where allowed by law.
- No automated scraping or heavy traffic patterns that materially degrade service availability.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breaches of these terms, security threats, or legal requirements. Where practical, we will provide notice and a chance to resolve issues.
You may stop using the service at any time. Data deletion timelines are described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Warranty disclaimer
Outstatic is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outstatic will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill resulting from use of the service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, when appropriate, by in-product or website notice.
